What do Aspect Training Apprenticeships involve?

Aspect Training Apprenticeships are a work-based learning programme that provides you with the skills and knowledge required for a chosen career or area of work. During your Apprenticeship with Aspect Training you’ll undertake a combination of practical on the job training and academic study enabling you to gain highly sought skills, a nationally recognised qualification and real life work experience all whilst you’ll be getting paid.

If you’re keen to start earning and learning while taking your first steps onto the career ladder, then an Apprenticeship with Aspect Training could be the perfect route for you! Aspect Training offer two Apprenticeships with relevancy to the health and social care industry. These Apprenticeship Standards are made up of several elements:

For Adult Care Worker (Level 2) they include:

  • A vocational qualification (Diploma) which is the Level 2 Diploma in Care
  • The Care Certificate
  • On-the-job training
  • Functional skills (English and Maths) at Level 1
  • Summative end point assessment

For Lead Adult Care Worker (Level 3) they include:

  • A vocational qualification (Diploma) which is the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
  • The Care Certificate
  • On-the-job training
  • Functional skills (English and Maths) at Level 2
  • Summative end point assessment

A level 2 Apprenticeship will take a minimum of 12 months to complete and a level 3 Apprenticeship can take up to 12-18 months. Aspect Training Apprenticeships aren’t just available to the 16 – 24 age group but also adults who might be looking for a career change. Upon completion of your Apprenticeship with Aspect Training you will have proven your competencies and will have plenty of progression opportunities available to you.
