What do the Border Force do? The Border Force manages the UK border control 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They ensure that customers are checked for controlled drugs, cash, tobacco, alcohol, firearms, offensive weapons, prohibited goods, counterfeit goods and clandestine entrants. You’ll be involved in a variety of important responsibilities and tasks with roles available in the following:

Dover / Folkestone Liverpool Heathrow Immingham Southampton Stansted Portsmouth Luton Bristol Birmingham Plymouth Flexistowe Gatwick Tilbury Manchester Airport Langley Postal Hub (HWDC – Heathrow Worldwide)

Border Force Apprenticeship requirements Flexibility is crucial to Border Force Apprenticeships and you’ll also need Maths and English at grade A*-D. You’ll also need to be a UK national, hold a full and valid passport, be at least 18 years old, have been a UK resident for at least 5 years and provide all the documents that the Border Force needs to complete your pre-employment screening and security clearance.
