An exciting Microsoft IT Apprenticeship opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking IT Consultancy based in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes for an enthusiastic person (aged 16-18) to join their growing team. In this role, you would earn £150 per week, whilst learning on the job and gaining industry sought after Microsoft IT certifications.
1st Line Helpdesk Analyst:
Answer the telephone and log calls into the helpdesk application; entering detailed information as to what the problem is and what actions have been taken so far to rectify
Attempt first time fix; working with the user and the team to try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
Your main responsibility will be to resolve IT support issues logged on the helpdesk system via the telephone and using remote access software
Calling the user back at agreed timescales to ensure they are kept abreast of the situation and understand what the next steps are and when they will happen
To perform such other duties that may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Management Team
You will be:

A calm and assured person who works well under pressure and to tight deadlines and is very well presented
Excellent at written and verbal communication from technical engineers to non-technical end users
An ambitious individual looking for a career in IT
A strong character and team player
A logical thinker, excellent with numbers and the ability to solve problems
Qualified with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C and above) including English, Maths and ICT
The role is packed with variety and will provide the Microsoft Apprentice with a fantastic foundation of experience across a number of popular technologies, from Microsoft core platform and infrastructure to PC build/upgrade and networking. You will diagnose and solve IT problems in both hardware and software and be shown how to work proactively, to provide remote systems management services to a portfolio of customers.

They deliver IT and Telecoms functions to businesses that don’t have them in-house, and also support larger businesses that do. They are a service business with a great network of contacts. They’re professional but also friendly – and they have some technical skills too!
