The role is front of house receptionist and involves working within a friendly team undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for those who like to undertake a variety of tasks and can multi-task with ease. You will be expected to turn your hand to various jobs whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. The successful applicant will work in a busy vibrant office, learning not only general administrative/office skills as well as gaining an excellent insight into the business.
You will be part of an experienced team, who have a lot of knowledge and skills to impart. This company very much believe in offering existing staff opportunities to grow, train and promote within the business. This opportunity requires a motivated, determined and enthusiastic person with good IT skills who can show they are quick to learn and impress. Main Duties:

Meeting and greeting offering refreshments
Communicating over the telephone incoming and outgoing calls
Work on reception area, meet and greet visitors
Use excellent customers service continuously
Using company bespoke computer system for invoicing
Organise and report data
Data input working with spreadsheets
Stationery – stock checking and item ordering / purchasing
Postal duties
Filing and maintaining internal documents
Store, retrieve and archive information
Preparing and cleaning meeting room and Photocopying
IT duties using Microsoft package including outlook, excel and word
Use electronic message systems
Light cleaning
Any other admin duties as required
Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
Excellent communication skills and strong telephone voice is essential
Quick and keen to learn with ambition to do well
Ability to build relationships at all levels
Strong organisational admin skills, with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Be able to use own initiative
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages excel is essential
Personal qualities
High level of motivation and drive
Good social skills
Good time keeping
Smart personal presentation
Desired qualifications
A-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English is desirable however not essential

Things to consider
From April 2018 the ANMW will be set at £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
