Monday to Friday – Shifts TBC by employer.
Total hours per week: 40.00
Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Duties to include:
Completing risk assessments
Filling out registers
Assisting or leading circle-time activities
Assisting and leading daily child appropriate activities to enable the children’s personal and educational development
Helping set up for meal times and feed children if required
Helping with nappy changing
Requirements and prospects
Good time management
Able to multi-task
Good communication skills
Shining Futures are looking for Level 3 apprentices, which means a Level 2 in childcare should already be in place.
Shining Futures are hoping to offer you a full time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Things to consider
The Current National Minimum Wage (ANMW) rate for apprentices is £3.70 per hour. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. After the 1st April 2018 the minimum wage rates are £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 years old and £7.83 for 25 and over.
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
About the employer
Busy day nursery with diverse staff and clients working together to provide best care possible for all children equally. We are located close to trendy Broadway Market, London Fields area. Providing care for children between 3 months and 5 years. We are open 8AM – 6PM Monday to Friday for 51 week a year, except bank holidays.
