Do you have strong leadership skills and want work at the frontline of the RAF; helping with the slick running of military airfields, overseas operations and radar control?

As an RAF Air Operations (Control) Officer, you will be responsible for an elite team; coordinating fighter jets, controlling the battlespace to support missions at home and overseas.

Air Operations (Control) Officer is a leadership role and involves a degree of managerial and organisational command tasks alongside controlling and directing the aircraft. You will work as the backbone of a squadron leading your team to scrambling Typhoon jets at a moment’s notice, coordinate air traffic and specialise in battlespace management support. All of this alongside the opportunity to travel the world and make lifelong friendships in the Royal Air Force, could this be the perfect role for you?

Requirements
Be aged 17.5-40
5 GCSEs (must include Maths & English Language, grade C or above)
2 A2 levels (Grade C/ level 3 or above)
UK citizen or dual/UK holder
Health requirements: BMI and Eye sight checks
Fitness requirements: 2.4Km run, Multi-stage fitness test, Press-up & Sit-ups

Salary
During Initial Officer Training = £26K+ (plus benefits)
After 6-months post-Initial Officer Training = £31K+ (plus benefits)
