Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
As an apprentice at Colliers Croft Care Home, you will be required to provide the upmost standard of care to the patients.
Your daily duties will include:
Assisting at meal times
General housekeeping duties as and when required.
Contributing to health and social care within the setting
Handling information in the health and social care setting.
Understand the role of communication and interaction with individuals
Supporting residents with day to day activities.
Supporting with day trips
Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements and prospects
Able to understand and communication effectively
Great time keeper
Able to work flexibly around clients and their needs.
Understanding the needs and requirements of each patient.
Able to carry out daily tasks when required
Customer service skills.
Willing to help and support patients and colleagues.
Keen to learn
Keen to succeed.
3 – 9 Grade GCSEs in Maths and English would be a distinct advantage.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship programme with Interserve Learning and Employment, you may be offered the opportunity to progress within the company.
Things to consider
The successful candidate will be required to complete a full DBS Check.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Colliers Croft Care Home will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
If successful, you will complete an Healthcare Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship programme delivered through Colliers Croft Care Home’s dedicated training provider, Interserve Learning & Employment.
