Role Profile

Advanced Engineering Craft Apprenticeships generally take three and a half years to complete. During the period of the apprenticeship, apprentices learn appropriate skills and gain a strong grounding in engineering practices – using tools to carry out a range of tasks, operating safely in the workplace and working on complex products in our manufacturing functions.

What Does The Apprenticeship Involve?

You’ll spend the first year in full time learning developing core skills for your selected trade discipline – in one of the many specialist roles we offer such as Aircraft Fitter, Electrician and Machinist.

We are introducing a maths test across craft and technicians and the output may determine the most suitable apprenticeship we recommend

What Qualification Will You Get?

Level 3 Standard.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grade A*-C/4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science/technical subject
