To provide pro-active and efficient support to the Marketing and Digital team. Working across a number of marketing campaigns and initiatives, the successful applicant will look to grow into the following accountabilities.

Support the Marketing and Digital team to deliver campaigns, ensuring that all activities are delivered on time and within the specified brief.
Schedule, coordinate and track marketing activities across all channels by liaising with the relevant Marketing Executives and Managers.
Support the execution of email campaigns, includes writing and checking copy, selecting data, supporting the testing process and measuring performance.
To support the maintenance of customer data and processes includes working on our CRM system (currently Salesforce).
Support the execution of marketing campaigns across various digital and social media platforms – including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pay-Per-Click and Search Engine Optimisation.
Support the development of marketing materials (e.g. brochures, leaflets, emails etc.) – ensuring that all items created are within the CIPD’s brand guidelines and are customer-centric.
Review marketing campaigns to show the impact that they’re having on business objectives and targets.
Review and update relevant areas of the website.
Support the CIPD’s presence at events – incudes managing logistics and supporting the delivery of related marketing plans.
Monitor competitor activity as and when required and share key findings
Provide administrative support to the team.

Knowledge, qualifications and experience
You’ll be an enthusiastic, confident and creative individual who has an interest for digital marketing and is committed to developing a successful career as a Digital Marketer.
A minimum of 3 GCSE’s C and above, preferably in Maths, English and/or ICT (or equivalents). Or a Level 2 in Functional Skills (equivalent to GCSE Grade C-A*).
You’ll need to be digitally savvy (e.g. great IT skills and good awareness of social and multi-media channels) with an eye for detail.
You’ll have the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
Organisational and time management skills are required together with a flexible and can-do-attitude to work.
You’ll have good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to developing your career and skills through self-learning, formal qualifications and on-the-job training.
Previous experience of working in a digital marketing or marketing role advantageous but not essential.
