Here at Steven Burgin, we are currently looking to recruit an apprentice to join our busy team! If you are passionate about hairdressing and keen to develop your skills, then this is the opportunity for you!
Tuesday to Saturday (shifts will be confirmed by the employer)
Total hours per week: 36.00

Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
As an apprentice at Steven Burgin your daily duties will include:
Ensuring salon is clean and tidy at all times
Managing stock as necessary
Preparing clients hair for senior stylist
Covering reception as required
Providing basic colouring services.
Providing basic cutting services.
Updo’s (curls, plaits etc.)
Shadowing other members of staff in order to learn and develop.
Requirements and prospects
Customer service skills.
Team working skills.
Keen to learn and develop.
Passionate about a career within hairdressing.
No formal qualifications are required for this role although, 5 GCSE’s grade c/4 or above would be a distinct advantage.
No work experience is required, although some work experience within a salon would be a distinct advantage.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship programme you may be offered the opportunity to progress within the company.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Steven Burgin will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
If successful, you will complete an Hair Professional apprenticeship programme delivered through Steven Burgin’s dedicated training provider, Interserve Learning & Employment.
