Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
Under the direction of the senior management team, you will be working in a high end salon supporting experienced stylists, gaining valuable in the job experience as well as achieving your NVQ in hairdressing.
As part of your training you will be involved in:
Ensuring salon is clean and tidy at all times
Managing stock as necessary
Preparing client hair for senior stylist
Covering reception as required (booking and confirming appointments)
hair industry practices and principles
hair cutting and styling techniques for all hair types
Requirements and prospects
Excellent customer service skills
Must have good communication skills
Passionate about hairdressing
Willing to keep up with trends, fashions, techniques and industry news
Friendly and fun
Must demonstrate a genuine interest in the job
Should be able to demonstrate a flair for the job
No formal qualifications are required, although 3 – 9 grade GCSE’s in Maths and English would be a distinct advantage.
Upon completion of the apprenticeship programme you may be offered the opportunity to progress within the company.

Things to consider
You will be on your feet the majority of the time.
The salon has at least 1 late night per week.
This apprenticeship role includes Saturday working.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. House of Quirk will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
If successful, you will complete an Hair Professional apprenticeship programme delivered through House of Quirk dedicated training provider, Interserve Learning & Employment.
