Are you a caring and reliable person? If you have a passion to work in the health and social care industry, this fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Support Assistant could be right for you.
Your role will be based in Maylands, Whitstable where you will play a key part in supporting and meeting the domestic of the residents, and supporting the Care Staff. You will receive ongoing support and development that will provide you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career within health and social care.
If you are successful candidate for this position, you will be expected to provide a high level of service to the residents.
Some of your duties could include:
Serving meals
Making sure that an adequate supply of clean clothing and linen is available for residents
Making a friendly and homely environment for residents
Maintaining and cleaning working area and equipment
Assisting other staff in the care of the residents
Helping residents to move around and communicate
This is just a sample of some of the tasks you might be performing – it is a very varied role.

Your training will be provided by learndirect one of the largest training organisations in the UK. They help train over 20,000 apprentices each year.

You will need good communication and team working skills, as well as a willingness to learn and progress. As Maylands operates as a home-from-home you will need to be adaptable, personable, and caring.
