We now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Apprentice to join us to assist in providing a high-quality IT service to enable organisational effectiveness and change.
Working closely with the wider IT Team to deliver on projects that realise value for SHG, you will undertake necessary administrative duties that support the delivery of IT services, such as purchasing, sourcing, auditing and planning and provide first line technical support over the phone, via e-mail and face to face.
Training will form part of the programme in assisting successful completion of the IT Apprenticeship.
Candidates for this apprenticeship must have a willingness to learn, excellent customer service skills and a keen interest in pursuing a career in IT. able to work quickly and accurately, you must hold a minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent grade A-C in any subject, with English and Maths being at Grade D or above and not be undertaking another Apprenticeship at the same time.
An excellent standard of numeracy and literacy is required, and you will also ideally have a good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft applications. We do ask that applicants have lived in the UK or EU for at least 3 years prior to the start of the Apprenticeship.
