Apprentice Leisure Attendant
Role Description:
This is a great opportunity to begin your career at Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel working in the Active Leisure Sector. In this role, you will ensure the leisure club is presented to a high standard and demonstrate knowledge and expertise of the Jupiter brands and services offered with the hotel and club.

Your duties will include;

•Ensuring high standards of customer care at all times
•Convey any comments/concerns from customers back to line manager
•Be aware of normal operating procedures & work instructions to implement emergency action plans in accordance with department procedures
•To set up and put away equipment
•Ensuring tasks are completed promptly and efficiently
•To undertake any cleaning and maintaining of equipment that may be required in line with manufacturer’s guidelines
•Attend and participate with monthly meetings and weekly training sessions
•Follow company cash handling procedures and company procedures for membership checks
•Responsible for ensuring health & safety throughout the leisure department.

As an apprentice you will be included on an Activity Leadership Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis throughout the 12 months, to deliver the training and coach you whilst you work. This will be delivered by an award-winning training provider.

Future prospects:
There is potential for the position to be permanent on successful completion of the Apprenticeship. There is also the opportunity to complete a National Lifeguard Qualification.

Non required as full training will be given.
Reality check:
You will be working 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis including weekends. There is the opportunity to undertake a National Lifeguard Qualification with the company.
