apprentice maintenance engineer maintaining,fault finding,breakdown repair and rectification of components and assemblies from machinery and associated equipment throughout the plant. Carrying out reactive,planned and preventative maintenance tasks and other general maintenance support duties for the range of equipment on site as directed.

Vacancy – full deScription*

Carrying out Electro/Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Repair and Inspection Tasks on machinery on scheduled basis, to ensure machinery serviceability is maintained to required level to meet production needs. Responding to Machinery Breakdowns to carry out initial fault finding to determine reason for failure and advising/implementing required course of repair/rectification action to return the equipment back to production ready status at the earliest opportunity. Inspection,Testing and Repair or Replacement of failed components as required on an emergency or scheduled basis. Continually maintaining production critical spares support stock at require levels. Carrying out and completing improvement projects as directed. Working correctly at all times to companies ISO quality and H&S procedures. Producing and maintaining records in accordance with site systems Continually working to develop your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship with the aim of becoming a fully competent member of the team on completion.

QualificationS reQuired*

Good GCSE achievements. The role requires a good level of understanding in Maths and Science. The successful candidate will have achieved GCSE minimum Grade C in Maths, English and Science. Good IT Skills with GCSE Grade C or equivalent level of achievement is also required.
