About the employer
We are based in a community centre which offers a spacious hall for children to take part in a range of activities. Throughout the day we may split the room into two sections allowing our toddlers (aged 2 years) and pre-school children (aged 3+ years) to enjoy free play and creative activities with equipment and toys designed for their age. We have a quiet area for children outside of the main room where staff can take small groups of children for focused activities, play, reading or quiet time. We provide balanced meals which are cooked onsite and a varied, seasonal menu which can be viewed on the website. We prefer to use organic fruit and vegetables where possible. Nursery managers Natasha (M.Sc, B.A Hons) and Daniella (B.Sc/B.A Hons) have over 10 years experience in childcare and hold childcare and nursery management qualifications. They are also trained in health & safety, food hygiene, first-aid, child protection and more. We pride ourself on the quality of care we can offer and the opportunities we provide for children to learn and develop. We value individual differences which is supported throughout each child’s stage of development. We work with qualified and experienced nursery nurses and all staff are DBS checked annually.
