One Call Insurance are looking for a dynamic individual to join their exciting, fast paced and buzzing IT department. You will join a well-established Operations Team in a friendly, relaxed yet hard working environment; ability to work under pressure is a must.

You will be responsible for:

Delivering excellent service and value to the business.
Providing first line support.
Learning the function of the helpdesk and providing suitable support.
Delivering first class internal relations.
Providing commitment to support and continuous improvement.

Requirements and prospects
Desired skills
Priority based helpdesk system experience
Excellent troubleshooting skills
A degree of Active Directory knowledge
Microsoft Exchange knowledge
Demonstrate customer service and communication skills, written and verbal
Methodical approach to work, ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently
Experience adhering to SLA’s
Basic Experience supporting and administering Virtualisation technologies (Ideally VMware)
Basic Windows server knowledge
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP)
Personal qualities
Disciplined, self-organised and motivated to learn and improve.
Ability to manage work load and tasks effectively within a busy office environment.
Desired qualifications
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Training provider
The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:

Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
PC Fundamentals and & Customer Service Skills
Business Processes & Network Fundamentals
Cloud Services
Coding & Logic
Networking and Architecture
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
