Job overview / purpose:

One of England’s leading Accountancy Firms is currently seeking an Apprentice Payroll Administrator to join their Finance team.

You will pro-actively provide an efficient, organised and professional administrative service by ensuring that the team have the appropriate support for all aspects of their work activities.

Main responsibilities: [will include but not be limited to]:

  • Run basic end to end payrolls
  • Working to tight deadlines
  • Handling incoming and outgoing client calls to the payroll department
  • Liaising with other team members and providing assistance where required
  • General administrative duties
  • Working with Microsoft packages and in house systems

Desired qualification requirements:

3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.

Working week:

5 days per week,

37.5 hours a week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]

Flexible working: 08:00am-4:00pm, 09:00am-5:00pm. 10:00am-6:00pm – your choice


£9000 per annum
