Framework and Level: Intermediate Apprenticeship in Plumbing (Level 2)

We are looking for hardworking and well-presented individuals to join our team as Apprentice Plumbers. We are keen to train and develop our workforce. Our engineers are consistently updating their skills, equipment and use of materials, keeping stringently in line with current legislation. This ensures that our customers receive the highest quality service possible and that Ignite Maintenance Services Ltd stay one step ahead of the competition.
As an apprentice with us, you will be involved in a range of plumbing jobs including:
- New installations and repairs of sinks, toilets and taps
- Installations of power showers
- Emergency repairs
- Plumbing maintenance tasks
- Assisting with complete/partial system upgrades for domestic and commercial heating systems
Pay: £175 per week
- Maths and English A* – C grade or equivalent (although flexible for the right person)
- Level 2/3 Diploma in Plumbing would be desirable
- A driving licence would be an advantage
- CSCS card would be desirable
Any important other information: The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Uniform hoody, shirt and jacket would be provided but own work trousers and safety boots will be required
