Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Software Developer Apprentice within Town & Country Housing, an affordable housing provider based in Tunbridge Wells.

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
They are looking for someone who is as passionate and eager to learn, who will fit in well with their growing technical team.
This is a permanent position where your day to day role will include:
Developing websites and web applications to the highest possible specification
As well as helping and supporting the rest of the team.
Requirements and prospects
Any experience in the following areas will be an advantage:
Visual Studio 2008 / 2010
Strong IT literacy
Excellent communication skills
A logical and analytical mind
Organised and pay attention to detail
Be able to work to deadlines
Understanding the functionality of databases.
Problem solving skills
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.

Town & Country Housing Group
The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.
Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Software Development Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
Software Design Fundamentals
User Interface Design
Software Development Context & Methodologies
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
