You’ll learn everything from fundamental skills like outdoor survival and weapons handling, to military strategy and the theoretical elements of leadership. You’ll train alongside fellow recruits from all over the world and make some of the best friends you’ve ever had.

When you complete the course you’ll become a Second Lieutenant and undertake specialist training that will prepare you for your specific role in the Army, from commanding a platoon of 30 paratroopers to intelligence officer or helicopter pilot. You’ll then take command of your soldiers, leading by example and looking after their best interests.
You’ll have immediate responsibility that could see you rising to the rank of Captain after three years and Major thereafter. Plus, a starting salary of over £25k, which will rise to over £30k when you complete your training as an Officer. This is your chance to succeed, without the debt – and so much more.

What you’ll need to apply:
A minimum of 180 UCAS points at A2 (72 for those taking A-Levels from 2017) plus 35 ALIS points from your seven best GCSEs (or SNQs) including a GCSE Level 4 (previously C Grade) or SNQ Level 5 or better in English Language, Mathematics and a Science or Foreign Language.
