3aaa are very proud to be working with Furturelink in recruiting an accounts apprentice. Based in Kings Langley the successful apprentice will support their SME group of compa-nies which specialises in Payroll, Accountancy Services and a Business Centre.
Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm
Total hours per week: 37.50
Possible start date
29 Jul 2018
Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Purchase and Sales ledgers.
Month end reporting.
Dealing with telephone enquiries.
Ad hoc support to the Financial Controller and Accountant.
Requirements and prospects
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
Proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A quick learner.
A “can do” attitude.
Able to effectively organise and prioritise own workload.
Able to quickly pick up new systems.
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including Maths, English and ICT (or equivalents).
Progression onto the Level 4 Professional Taxation.

The Assistant Accountant apprenticeship programme is accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). It combines outstanding classroom training, dedicated workplace mentorship and on-the-job experience to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to become a highly competent accounting professional.
The apprenticeship will include:
AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping.
SAGE Level 2 Computerised Accounts.
AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting AQ 2016.
6 mandatory units including:
Final accounts preparation.
Management accounting: Costing.
Ethics for accountants.
Spreadsheets for accounting.
Training and Assessment:
Throughout the apprenticeship you will be required to attend your local Accountancy Academy for various training sessions.
Your dedicated Assessor will visit you in the workplace every 8-12 weeks.
You will be invited to 3aaa Masterclasses presented by industry experts to enrich your learning experience.
During your apprenticeship programme, there will be 7 examinations throughout:
x2 Level 2 Bookkeeping.
x1 Level 2 Sage.
x4 Level 3 Diploma.
The remainder of your training will be completed within the workplace.
