Job overview

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to become part of our diverse team.

We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to work in the various departments in our office, completing all Administrative duties.

Key responsibilities

You will provide a strong support function to the team. You will have exposure to the different departments within Language Empire and will take on a range of duties including:

  • Providing office support including customer and employee support
  • Keeping computer databases up to date
  • Interacting with clients either on the phone or in writing
  • Answering phones and transferring calls to the proper department
  • Taking phone messages and passing them on
  • Using spreadsheets to extract data
  • Ensuring accurate data input
  • Learning about the company’s mission and available products/services
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Sending and receiving emails
  • Preparing documents by printing, copying, and binding
  • Writing and editing company correspondence
  • Scheduling and co-ordinating bookings
  • Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required

Desired qualities

  • Excellent organisational skills and willingness to learn
  • Strong work ethic

Desired qualification

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs A* – C
  • Maths and English A* – B

Working week

Various shifts: 8:00am-16:00pm or 9:00am-17:00pm or 10:00am-18:00pm,

Monday-Friday [all will be confirmed with the employer],

35hrs per week

Salary

Flexible, above Minimum Wage [will be discussed and confirmed upon interview]
