Do you love being organised? Then you could be a business administration apprentice at Footwear Associates.
Your role as an office assistant will be based in the Long Ashton office where you will be providing office support. You will receive ongoing support and development that will provide you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career within business administration.
If you are a successful candidate for this vacancy, you will be expected to provide an efficient administration service.
Your duties could include:
Monthly Statements & procedures
Sales Commission reports
Sales order entry
Checking off invoice prices against orders
Checking delivery notes against Invoices
Dealing with suppliers over shortages and raising debit notes
Making payments to suppliers
Entering stock received into computer
Dealing with late supplies
Regular stock checking with warehouse, actual against computer
Issuing stock reports to sales team
Entering new purchase orders onto computer
Progress chasing orders with factory
Taking orders on telephone
Dealing with web orders
Helping prepare for trade events
Helping update web site
Assisting with sales journey planning
Assisting with e-commerce mail shots
Requirements and prospects
You should be highly organised, have confidence with IT, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
You will be a bright, enthusiastic individual keen to learn and progress, looking for a great career starter.
GCSE English and maths at grade C plus or equivalent is preferred but not essential
When you have successfully completed your Apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to continue in your role or progress onto an alternative support role within the company where you will receive full training and support.
