Our UK Graduate Programme provides exceptional graduates the opportunity to master managerial and technical skills. Over the two year period it combines rotational placements with focused training and the possibility of European assignments as well as further personal development and the chance to build your professional network.
From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and even with customers and suppliers. This, along with training provided works to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to take the next step of your career following the programme’s conclusion.
The Airbus Cyber Business will be an exciting place to start your career with the opportunity to get involved with:
¤ Service Delivery Management – ensuring the services provided to our customers remain aligned to their needs.
¤ Service Process Management – ensuring our internal service processes work effectively and efficiently.
¤ Cost Centre Management – ensuring we are working to budget
¤ Project Management – ensuring our projects flow through design, build and test on time, to quality and budget prior to moving into run operations.
¤ Bid Management – supporting the bid writers to win new or incremental business.
Your main activities will vary depending upon the area of the business you are in during your placement.
During the Service Delivery Management placement you will be expected to compile customer reports, deal with customer issues and support Service Delivery Managers during customer meetings.
During the Service Process Management placement you will receive ITIL training and be expected to review and if necessary suggest process improvements. You will also be expected to support our internal Quality Managers during audits.
During the Cost Centre Management placement you will be exposed to supporting the manager in defining financial forecasts, reviewing actual spend and resource planning.
During the Project Management Placement you will support the project managers with project scheduling, ensuring plans are realistic and actual delivery is not deviating from the plan, delivering presentations and attending internal gate reviews.
During the Bid Management Placement you will support the Service Management aspects of the bid by writing some bid material against customer requirements. You will only be expected to help out in bid writing towards the end of your placement once you have build up knowledge and experience.
You will receive Service Management & Commercial training over the 2 years whilst working in the Airbus Cyber Business.

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
This role will be based in Newport, South Wales and will receive the full Airbus Defence & Space Graduate programme benefit package including an annual Salary of £27,000, plus a welcome payment of £2,000.
