Hospitality giant, Hilton, is looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join their team as a Reservations Apprentice. A highly sought after role, as well as having the opportunity to be mentored by Hilton’s experienced Reservations staff, you’ll also receive on-the-job training working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 Standard in Reservations.
Scope and General Purpose of job
As a Reservation Apprentice you will serve as the first line of inquiry for room reservations within the hotel. A Reservation Apprentice is responsible for offering excellent customer service, options, and other solutions to meet Guest and customer needs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
A Reservations Apprentice will learn and demonstrate the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Convert, quickly, inquiries into contracted business
o Respond, positively, to sales inquiries to develop future sales leads
o Identify sales leads, as appropriate
o Respond to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all reservations are completed accurately and to the Guest’s expectation
o Provide prompt and efficient service while maintaining the hotels brand standards
• Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
• Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds
• Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required
