Our client has an extensive network of 18 manufacturing facilities in the UK, employing approximately 1,800 people.
They are a leading manufacturer of a diverse and trusted range of concrete and clay building products used extensively within the construction sector, with instantly recognisable brands such as Thermalite blocks, London Brick, Ecostock, Cradley, Formpave and Jetfloor, and Bison Precast.
Their product range comprises of clay bricks, Thermalite blocks, aggregate blocks, Red Bank chimney, roofing and flue systems, precast concrete and flooring products and Formpave permeable paving.

As one of their Commercial Graduates, you will gain experience of the Area Sales Manager role, the Customer Contact Centre, Distribution, Marketing and Commercial Reporting with the aim of fulfilling the role of an Area Sales Manager at the end of the 24 month training period.
Establishing and maintaining good customer relations, you will promote the company’s products and services to both existing and potential customers, developing an understanding of their needs and dynamics for each of the key channels to market; merchants, factors and house builders. Maintaining and operating internal recording, reporting and administration systems, you assist at exhibitions, conferences, presentations and other functions as required and keep abreast of developments in commercial, technical and policy matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to start a career in the construction industry! All that they ask is that you are educated to Degree level and are highly motivated with strong team ethics. You’ll need to possess excellent communication and customer relationship skills, be able to prioritise own workload and be able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
You will also need to hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible and willing to travel to various sites across the UK.
