It’s an exciting time for our Digital team who are delivering an ambitious programme of digital solutions aimed at better enabling all employees and helping to make Scottish Water an even better and more fulfilling place to work. On our Digital Graduate Development Programme, which starts in September 2020, you will have a fantastic opportunity to work with other self-starters in a vibrant and forward-thinking technology team that is responsible for shaping the future Digital landscape within Scottish Water.

You will be particularly interested in developing Scottish Water’s digital capability across mobile, social, cloud and data analytics platforms.  You will be immersed in operational technology and help to drive Scottish Water’s “internet of things”. You will have the opportunity to apply your innovative ideas and fresh perspective to deliver new ways of working that adopt the latest technologies and create a workplace that meets modern user expectations.

The aim of this two year programme is to further develop your skills and expertise to enable you to take on a specialist technical role on completion of your Programme. Placements within a number of key stakeholder teams during your two year programme will allow you to challenge yourself and colleagues as we are looking for Graduates who have the determination to succeed, add value and become our future subject matter experts and leaders.

You’ll be given the chance to stretch yourself on these placements across Scottish Water and across Scotland too… by being flexible in your thinking and sometimes in your location.

To be successful on this programme you must share our passion for delivering great customer service. You will have a minimum 2:2 (or be on track to achieve a minimum 2:2) degree or postgraduate qualification in an IT, Computer & Software Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Environments, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Digital Project Management and Product Design).
