An exciting opportunity has arisen within a growing company in Manchester city centre. They are looking for a customer service apprentice to join their fast-growing team. The suitable candidate will be helping out with studio work (graphic design).

A normal day would include:
• Assisting the senior graphic designer
• Designing from scratch, making amendments to existing designs
• Doing pre-flight artwork checks
• Discussing design briefs with your clients and communicating with the senior designer
• Managing client accounts
• Developing and maintaining relationships
• Speaking to customers on the telephone
• Working with spreadsheets, Outlook, and other internal systems
• Working in Adobe InDesign (80% of the time), Illustrator (15%) and Photoshop (5%)

Opal Management is a marketing design and print company specialising in online print services. The successful candidate will be paid a weekly wage between £150-£200 plus bonus and commission.

What you could go on to do:
You could progress onto becoming a senior graphic designer.

How you will be supported:
Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help you achieve your apprenticeship and reach your full potential in your role. Full in-house training provided for the role requirements but at least basic knowledge of the Adobe suite (mainly InDesign and Illustrator) is required.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately, under pressure if necessary
• Ability to take and follow instructions from the management team
• High standards of customer service
