The ‘business model’ is such that no company is too small to assist and never too big – both local and national companies are supplied. Many of the companies SOS currently supply have been loyal customers since 2000 and have worked in close partnership across SOS’s various divisions.

Detailed Job Description
The daily duties the apprentice may undertake in their day to day practices are, but are not limited to:
Dealing with customer queries either over the telephone
Face to face or over email.
Meeting and greeting any customers who enter the business, you will then help to resolve the query, this maybe on the computer or in person or again over the telephone.
Other activities will include answering the telephone and responding to emails
The working week will be Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
Requirements and Prospects
A* to C grades are preferred but are not essential and no specific qualifications are required as full training will be given in the apprenticeship.
Strong communication skills
Be able to confidently answer the telephone
Multi-task jobs and be able to prioritise workloads
Be able to learn quickly and adapt processes to fit an ever changing work environment
Apply yourself to learn the company systems and how it works
Be able to work on your own at time and in a team
Be computer literate
Must be enthusiastic
Willing to learn
Smart and presentable at all times
Take full advantage of any training provided.
Upon completion of the Level 2 qualification, the option to complete a level 3 Customer Service may be on offer for the right candidate.

All training will be delivered in the work place with no requirement for day release to college. You will be mentored by experienced members of staff while developing your skills to a nationally recognised industry standard.
The current Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW) is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training.
