Intermediate Level Apprenticeship
While working towards your Level 2 customer service qualification, delivered by Paragon Skills, you will be working with C Brown & Sons completing the following:
Following up customer enquires
Record lost order details
Ensuring C.Brown’s service and quality levels are maintained
Checking outstanding orders
Liaising with production, purchasing and transportation departments
Raising credit notes
Keeping records up to date
Learning and becoming competent with in-house systems
The working week will be 37 hours per week and will be Monday to Friday. The working hours are Monday – Thursday; 08:30 to 17:00, and 08:30 to 15:00 on Fridays.

Requirements and prospects
Computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
Able to build professional working relationships
Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
Good communication skills
Good telephone manner

Able to work in a team and individually
There are no specific qualifications required for this position, but strong GCSE grades or equivalent and some experience within customer service would be advantageous.
There are multiple internal progression routes for the successful candidate upon completion of the apprenticeship. These can be discussed with you throughout the apprenticeship.
Things to consider
The Current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The minimum wage rates are £4.20 for under 18’s, £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 years old and £7.83 for 25 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
