Advanced Level Apprenticeship
We’re looking for a bright and enthusiastic person to join us as an Apprentice Designer, where you’ll develop on your production skills for both print and digital as well as general support for all departments with design and print requests.
Jellymedia is a growing agency, providing a range of support to our clients in the gaming industry and beyond. Our services consist of design, web development, community management and event management.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented junior designer to join our team. You’ll be working across all disciplines including print (including large format work) and digital media. This role will give you an ideal chance to develop new skills and establish your career. The role would be suited to someone starting out on their design journey and wants to gain experience in an exciting, quick and changing agency environment. You will be enthusiastic and driven and willing to lend a hand.
You will learn to have strong production skills in both print and digital media
You will learn to take an idea from concept through to final artwork
You will learn to understand designing user interfaces, user experience, responsive web design and information architecture for interactive media
You’ll be willing to support all internal departments with design and print requests
You’ll be working to a design brief
You’ll have brief interaction with clients
You’ll have good communication skills
You’ll be organised, capable of managing own workload and prioritising time well
You’ll be willing to experiment, test and learn
You should have a keen attention to detail, be flexible, and be calm under pressure
Ideally you will have a college/school qualification in Graphics or design related subjects.
You’ll have a portfolio of work that demonstrates a range of skills; creativity, design ability, an attention to detail, typography and layout.
We use Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills. Experience working with code is desirable but not essential.
