This is an exciting opportunity to combine professional training with real working experience and join a rapidly growing company in a unique role. The company, Nexmo Ltd are currently seeking a highly motivated Help Desk Technician
As an Infrastructure Apprentice, you will provide support to internal and external customers, helping company productivity through technology by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems. You may also be providing invaluable support in setting up employees on systems when needed. You will need to be flexible enough to adapt to their role to meet the changing needs of the company.
You will be working with the senior IT support engineer who will coach and mentor you to carry out the following duties…
Dealing with service desk tickets
Making sure proper SLA’s are met
Assisting your line manager carry out IT projects
Expected skills, attitude and behaviours;
Keen to learn
Logical and creative thinking skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and to take responsibility
Can use own initiative
A thorough and organised approach
Ability to work with a range of internal and external people
Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations
Maintain a productive, professional and secure working environment
Upon completing the apprenticeship, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your career even further.
If successful for this role, you will be reporting directly into the senior IT Engineer with an anticipated start date of 04/09/2017
