Apprenticeship summary


  • Manage email inboxes and direct all electronic requests to the appropriate team member
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing post
  • Answer telephone queries and requests and deal with in the necessary manner
  • Managing receipt of utility invoices and both via paper and electronically and record in the appropriate manner
  • General filing duties ensuring the filing system is robust and stored electronically where possible
  • Complete invoicing activities at the earliest opportunity for the contracts within specific guidelines
  • Assist the Energy Bureau team with adhoc contract requirements


  • Daily contact with Energy Bureau Manager
  • Daily contact with Energy Analyst Team Leads
  • Daily contact with Energy Analysts
  • Regular contact with Utility providers
  • Regular contact with Accounts Payable and Finance functions
  • Regular contact with the wider Energy Services team

Desired qualifications

The successful candidate will be given full on the job training alongside undertaking the apprenticeship Level 2 in Business Administration.

  • This apprenticeship will equip you with the skills, behaviours and qualifications you need to build your career in Business Administration
  • The 14 month programme is delivered onsite in the workplace by Interserve Learning & Employment and involves time off the job to attend monthly workshops, webinars and 121 sessions with your tutor
  • The role offers the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship programme for the right candidate

Training provider

This will be via on the job learning and relevant training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding.
