You will be responsible for the smooth running of the Nuclear Institute’s Events, Administration and Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inputting and amending data and general use of the organisation’s database/CRM
Quality control of CRM data – updating and correcting existing data
Responding promptly, courteously and efficiently to requests relating to booking events and membership
Taking payments from customers for membership and events
Liaising with NI Communities (regional branches, Young Generation Network, Women in Nuclear and Special Interest Groups) on their events
Ensuring the availability of marketing materials for Events and NI Communities
Ensuring effective filing of key files/folders
Some meetings and diary management for the Events Manager
Assist in maintaining efficient office space (eg. Storage of marketing materials etc.)
Assisting in maintaining and updating the NI website, particularly event items and community content
Assist in maintaining our social media communication channels relating to events

Very good command of English – verbal and written
Strong numeracy skills and accurate figure work
Ability to learn and use our in house database effectively
Ability to manage your own time effectively and organise yourself to respond to the needs of your colleagues in a timely way
Attention to detail
The ability to take ownership of your work and be able to be productive without supervision
A confident attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to take on new tasks as needed
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to liaise across departments in order to bring a project together

There are 7 face to face 1 day workshops which are spread across the country in Conference Centres and Hotels to expose the learners to different venues.
For each Apprentice a Mentor/Coach is assigned to support the learning and all Apprentices have access to an online Learning Management System with additional resources.
The Apprentice meets with their mentor/coach every month for between 2-4 hours to support their learning and progression within the programme.
Quarterly reviews are undertaken with both the Apprentice and their Line Manager to ensure quality of delivery throughout the duration of the programme.
JGA GROUP are responsible for arranging the mid-point Assessment and any coaching required to get the Apprentice ready for their End Point Assessment.
JGA GROUP are also responsible for Quality Assurance of the Training and are OFSTED inspected, just like any other Educational Establishment.
