About this opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that is committed to taking on an apprentice. You will be responsible for tasks relating to the preparation and maintenance of financial records as well as cash handling and office administration

A normal day would include:

• Raise sales ledger invoices
• Chasing outstanding client invoices and dealing with customer queries
• Process purchase invoices
• Post bank transactions
• Petty cash
• Dealing with employee expenses
• Analyse & post credit card transactions
• Adhoc administration

• AAT Level 2 or A-level Accounting

• Exceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlines
• Experience of liaising with colleagues from operational to senior director level
• First class communication skills, personal confidence and the ability to influence others
• Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
• Meticulous written and verbal communication skills

Planning and Organising:
• Ability to organise own workload
• Ability to prioritise work and deliver to tight deadlines
• Able to maintain accurate and timely records as required by the role
• Identifies and knows how to solve everyday job-based problems in liaison with manager

Communication:
• Able to communicate information politely and courteously
• Has everyday spoken skills e.g. telephone and face-to-face conversations
• Has advanced written and numeric skills appropriate to the job
