The department is responsible for the management of all the costs relating to the Broughton plant. The primary focus is to
provide business partnering to enable the plant to deliver against all its cost targets including Internal and externally procured
You will be working within a team of over 20 qualified accountants.
There are three positions available; the role will involve working for a Financial Controller, either:
a) in the Component Delivery Team
b) within Procurement Controlling
The roles are under constant review with the department to ensure interns receive the best experience possible
Each Intern will be responsible for providing a suite of established Management reports ensuring continued delivery to time and
quality. You will support the Controller in any ad-hoc business requests that will arise during the normal course of business. You
will work closely with Controlling colleagues and will liaise with other departments to support cross functional projects that
require financial support.

You will provide support to any projects that arise within the department in response to business pressures and could be
expected to move from the current role for limited duration(s) of time if necessary.
You will support the Graduates in the delivery of the finance quarterly communication process by assisting in the organisation
and hosting of events, and presenting information in communication meetings if the opportunity arises.
You will support Airbus charity challenge initiatives working with colleagues from all areas of the business and be encouraged to
immerse yourself in the Airbus culture.
You must be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement studying towards a degree in Finance, Accountancy or
Business with a strong Financial content.
Have a desire to pursue a career in Finance after completing your degree.
Use of Microsoft Business application(s) with emphasis on using Excel.
