Are you a caring and reliable person? If you have a passion to work in the health and social care industry, this fantastic opportunity for a Health Care Assistant could be right for you.
Your role will be based at Beckfield House, Station Road, Heighington, LincolnLN4 1QJ where you will play a key part in supporting and meeting the basic physical and social needs of the residents, in a way that maintains their dignity, privacy and independence. You will receive ongoing support and development that will provide you with the skills and knowledge required for a successful career within health and social care.
If you are successful candidate for this position, you will be expected to provide a high level of service to the residents.
Some of your duties could include:
Observing and report any changes in the condition of residents
Making a friendly and homely environment for residents
Assisting other staff to lift and turn bedridden residents
Helping residents to move around and communicate
Helping to shower and bathe the residents
Assisting residents with dressing and eating
Making sure that an adequate supply of clean clothing and linen is available for residents
Serving meals
This is just a sample of some of the tasks you might be performing – it is a very varied role.

Your training will be provided by learndirect one of the largest training organisations in the UK. They help train over 20,000 apprentices each year.
