Job Description TEXT:
1st Line Support IT Helpdesk Technician: Dealing directly with customers by phone, largely using remote control and monitoring software, engaging with 1st line support instances and escalating to 2nd and 3rd-line as appropriate. You will work towards Microsoft Certifications.
You will be involved in:
• Helpdesk support
• PC/Server Builds
• Periodic Server restore checks
• Client Patch Management
• Occasional Field work assisting a Senior Technician
The Helpdesk is the central point of the IT Support operations; it determines scheduled actions that need to be undertaken as well as receiving enquiries and alerts from users and automated monitoring systems. All incidents need to be logged and dealt with or escalated according to severity and circumstance.
You will be mentored and become an integral productive member of the 1st line response team.
