An exciting Microsoft IT Apprenticeship opportunity has arisen with a forward thinking IT Consultancy based in Aylesbury for an enthusiastic person (aged 16-18) to join their growing team.  In this role, you would earn £150 per week, whilst learning on the job and gaining industry sought after Microsoft IT certifications.


IT Helpdesk and Support Apprentice:

Make/receive support calls to a range of clients’ networks, hardware and software
Update records on database
Research/report information
Construct adequate responses to customer queries
Assist the existing Support Technician team providing telephone and remote support to clients
Regular monitoring of client back-ups and security
You will be:

An energetic individual with a passion for customer satisfaction and a friendly, people orientated personality
Excellent at written and verbal communication from technical engineers to non-technical end users
An ambitious individual looking for a career in IT
A strong character and team player
Able to work in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure
A logical thinker, excellent with numbers and the ability to solve problems
Qualified with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (grade C and above) including English, Maths and ICT
The role is packed with variety and will provide the Microsoft Apprentice with a fantastic foundation of experience across a number of popular technologies, from Microsoft core platform and infrastructure to PC build/upgrade and networking. You will diagnose and solve IT problems in both hardware and software and be shown how to work proactively, to provide remote systems management services to a portfolio of customers.


Promotion: The role could migrate to Support Technician, with the opportunity to visit clients and further progression to sales engineer for the appropriate candidate.
