HD Clinical is a leading UK healthcare software vendor, providing the Solus Electronic Clinical Record and other software to over 300 customers in the NHS, Irish Health Service Executive and other professional care bodies in the public and private sectors.
Job overview / purpose:
The right candidate will learn how to build, manage and troubleshoot a complete network infrastructure including Hardware, software, firewalls, switches, virtualization, VPN, Cloud services, web filtering asset management, log file management, change control, cyber security, information security and compliance.
Main role: [will include but not be limited to]:
The role is to assist the staff and eventually customers to get the maximum productivity from their I.T. systems.
Initially the key responsibilities will be to manage:
- Web filter
- Asset lists
- Approved software
- Log file checking and mining
- Log file retention and recording
- Unlocking user accounts
- Information security
As their skills progress the role will become fluid and they will eventually be trained to build virtual environments, manage connections to 200+ customer sites, implement network migration, firewall management, IP routing, VPN LDAP with 2 factor authentication, fault finding on desktops ,laptops and servers including web servers, terminal servers, email systems, accounting systems, CRM systems. Software install and management of windows servers, Sql servers, Oracle servers, windows desktops, Linux anti-virus, development software, Ms Office etc….

Desired qualification requirements:
3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.
5 days per week,
Monday – Friday,
9am – 5pm,
35 hours a week, [all details will be confirmed with the employer]
£16,000 per annum
