You can now apply to join our internship programme, which commences in June 2020, as a Finance Intern. During your internship you will support the Treasury, Tax and Insurance team within Financial Control. The location of this role is the Stepps office outside Glasgow.
This Internship will offer you a fantastic opportunity to experience how treasury and tax is managed at Scottish Water, specifically how our tax team ensure compliance with all relevant tax legislation and prepare tax returns for HMRC and other global tax authorities, reflecting our work in Ireland and Australia.
You will have knowledge of accounting and finance and share our passion for delivering great customer service. An understanding of water and or waste water services is not essential. You will be working towards a minimum 2:2 Honours Degree (or be on track to achieve a 2:2) in Accountancy or a Business or Finance related discipline; or towards a Post Graduate qualification in Accounting or Finance.
To be eligible to apply for this internship programme you will be a penultimate year student (for example in your third year of a four year course, or in your fourth year but going on to study a Masters Degree / Post Graduate qualification. You need to be available for the 12 week duration of the programme and on course to achieve at least a 2:2 degree
