Advanced Level Apprenticeship
The ideal candidate must have good IT skills, a keen attention to detail and be calm and efficient under pressure. Must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, have good verbal and written skills, able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels. The ability to respond to enquiries promptly, accurately and efficiently. Able to learn & apply new skills whilst developing existing skills. They will give full training to the right person in all aspects of this varied job role. All they ask is a willingness to learn and to work hard.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
From a technical standpoint, the successful candidate should be conversant with basic networking principles.
Logging and responding to tickets or incidents both over the phone and via an email based system.
Working with an established team to learn how fix a range of IT issues
Responding to failed backups, investigate and re-run if appropriate
Checking systems are updated and that automated updates have been applied
Testing internal and client systems and software where required
Other regular checks to systems, servers and networks.
Undertaking the troubleshooting of Wired and Wireless Networks
Requirements and prospects
You will be numerate and analytical with a sharp eye for detail. With the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people at all levels, you will be proficient at delivering great customer service whilst ensuring work is completed and delivered to a high standard.

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.
Learners will receive eight weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated Skills Development Coach who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
Business Processes & Customer Services
Networking & Architecture
Mobile & Operating Systems
Coding & Logic
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
