Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Engineer with Lucidica, a London based IT Support company.
Monday – Friday, shifts TBC
Total hours per week: 40.00

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
To deliver first class care and resolution of clients requests (incidents) to ICT. Champion resolution of requests within other teams across Service Delivery.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
Billable work: undertaking work for clients that can be billed to them
Knowledge & learning: increasing your own knowledge in technology and solutions relevant to our clients, through continual learning (guided by the Division Manager(s) you work with)
Performing the Service Desk Engineer role when scheduled on-duty accordingly
Reviewing the Service Desk roster and to have any roster clashes for the next week resolved with the Service Desk Supervisor, by 6pm Fridays
Completing your previous weeks’ time sheet, by 11am Mondays
Arriving on-time for all meetings (internal and external)
Requirements and prospects
Excellent communication & organisation skills
A keen interest in technology
A strong technical aptitude
Fun and friendly attitude
A good communicator with excellent customer service skills a willingness to learn and an interest in IT
5 GCSE’s grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt. Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
PC Fundamentals & Customer Service Skills
Business Processes & Network Fundamentals
Coding & Logic
Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Networking and Architecture
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
