Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Technology Technician with Rugby Football League, based in Manchester
Total hours per week: 35.00

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Call logging and management including prioritisation of calls, updating users of progress, primary
Supporting logged calls and referral of more technical calls as appropriate.
Assisting with configuring hardware and software according to RFL requirements.
Assisting with carrying out installations of PC/Server based software, hardware, parts etc.
On-site support, in particular repairing workstations in-house
Maintaining Hardware and Software records, perform regular Audits and checks on RFL computers and Laptops
Monitoring daily backups
Weekend work and out-of-hours support where required (time off in lieu in line with RFL policy)
Assisting with maintaining and supporting email infrastructure
Having a lead on support of telecommunications systems
Having a lead on installation and maintenance of mobile telecommunications systems
Travelling to other RFL offices to install new hardware, solve ICT issues and deliver a regular ICT Surgery
Requirements and prospects
Office 365 and Microsoft office
The candidate will have knowledge of a wide range of desktop applications (e.g. MS Office, Project, Visio, etc.)
Knowledge of Infrastructure support including Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Firewalls, Anti-virus, VPN/WAN, Routers, Switches and TCP/IP essential
Experience in setting up and configuring consumer electrical equipment
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.
Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
PC Fundamentals & Customer Service Skills
Business Processes & Network Fundamentals
Coding & Logic
Networking and Architecture
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
