Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer with Wood ITC a Remote IT Support Company based in Stalybridge.
Monday-Friday, shifts TBC

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Wood ITC is looking for a 1st line Engineer looking to expand their knowledge. Primarily the candidate will be answering the support calls and logging tickets. The candidate will be working alongside engineers to resolve the tickets in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner & customer service skills, needs to be a good team player and muti-task.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
Answering the phone
Working through 1st line requests
Requirements and prospects
Strong interest in IT
Windows OS/Mac Os knowledge
Good customer service skills
Excellent telephone manner
Work well under pressure
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position
About the employer
Wood ITC is a IT company based in Manchester, they have a wide variety of clients that require daily IT support. They are looking for someone to join their team who has great customer service skills and is friendly and approachable. This person will be based at their busy office located in Stalybridge. The office can suddenly become hectic so being able to work well under pressure is a must.

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt. Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
PC Fundamentals & Customer Service Skills
Business Processes & Network Fundamentals
Coding & Logic
Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Networking and Architecture
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
