Job overview

Working with senior IT leaders to develop and maintain our client’s code base and applications.

You’ll learn how to write, build and test simple, high-quality code across front end, logic and database layers whilst also developing effective user interfaces, link code to data sources & analyse test results to correct errors.

Main responsibilities

On day one, you will be a valued part of our development team, trusted to make changes to code, while gaining deep technical knowledge in full life-cycle product development.

You will work with our clients to provide the right solutions and ensure that their systems keep running.

You will need to be mobile – base locations are in Manchester but you may need to visit client sites across the UK.

Required qualities

  • Coding experience in any programming language.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, proactive, self-motivated, positive attitude, and strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions and seek help/advice where appropriate.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills.

Desired qualification

  • Qualification in one or more subjects in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
  • You must have achieved at least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above including Maths and English Language. We also accept Level 2 Skills Tests as a GCSE equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Coding experience in any programming language.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently and idiomatically.
  • You don’t need to be studying business or technology A-levels, but you must have a keen interest in both.

Working week

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm


£230.00 per week
