Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Junior Systems Apprentice with Eviivo, based in London.
£14,000.00 – £16,000.00

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Areas of Responsibility:
Supporting local and remote desktop users with day-to-day PC issues
Managing Hardware/Software asset register
Maintaining audit of IT systems and software
Managing user accounts and security rights for joiners and leavers
Dealing with general technical queries and troubleshooting
Assisting the IT Manager with communication’s between hosting supplier when necessary
Monitoring and enforcing compliance with the company security policy
Assisting with new and on-going projects (server deployments / Migrations, network installs / upgrades etc.)
Ad Hoc (Vendor Liaison/Procurement/Sales Support)
Owning the day-to-day relationship with the vendors of the various infrastructure elements (PCs, servers, networking, telecoms, air conditioning, software, etc.)
Managing the procurement and implementation of new PC’s, updates, software, etc.
Requirements and prospects
You will be expected to have achieved/predicted 5 GCSE grades A*-C including Maths & English.
Demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in the use of Intel based PCs, Windows 7/10, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Have a sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects and work
Ability and willingness to learn and progress within the role, with aspirations to progress your career in the field of IT
Be attentive to detail, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent client service
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.
Things to consider
The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.70 an hour from the 1st of April 2018. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds; £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.83 for those over 25.

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.
Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.
This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Standard with training in areas such as:
Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
PC Fundamentals & Customer Service Skills
Business Processes & Network Fundamentals
Coding & Logic
Networking and Architecture
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
