Job overview: 

The company are looking for a L3 infrastructure apprentice to join their busy and successful team by providing 1st Line Support on a hardware breakfix desk for SC customers within an SC environment.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Support engineers and customers with ICT hardware technical queries.
  • Happy to learn / gain a good understanding of SLA’s
  • Will work as part of a team or alone using own initiative.
  • Will handle demanding and difficult customer environment.
  • To log all calls into OUT call management system ensuring all relevant details required to progress the call are present and correct.
  • Deliver an accurate first line vet (Identifying a faulty hardware component), and use the knowledge database when vetting calls.
  • Schedule OUT calls to engineers and managing their workloads to ensure they attend calls within SLA in an efficient manner.
  • Assist the engineering team when calling in for technical assistance.

Desirable skills:

  • Be able to communicate with customers at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of IT & tech
  • Assess, prioritise and manage workload ensuring contractual obligations are achieved.

Desired qualifications:

  • 3x GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A-C in any subject.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above.
