A great opportunity has arisen to join Brooklyn Trading; working in the Marketing team you will be supporting the team and promoting the business online.
Company overview:
Brooklyn Trading Ltd has been successfully trading for over fifteen years. We are based in Manchester, where we have our head office, distribution centre and 15,000 square foot factory outlet.
We specialise in branded clearance DIY, Gardening, Stationery and Household items.
Our products are constantly changing and due to demand and cheap prices, we usually sell out quickly.
We will only stock a product if it is of a high quality and a cheap price, and therefore whilst we might not have the extensive range that would be available in other high street stores, you can be guaranteed that everything we do stock, is significantly cheaper than anywhere else.
Role description:
Create product listings for Channel Advisor using Excel.
Writing product descriptions in line with current SEO guidelines.
Update social media channels using Hootsuite/Automated platform
Develop new ideas to promote the business using all channels available.
Utilise social media to promote our products and services (pages, groups ect)
Carry out Search Engine Optimisation to help increase website traffic
Update content on company website
Manage e-commerce sites such as eBay and Amazon
Continuously seek and suggest improvements
Update analytical and social reporting sheets
Revise slow selling products – providing new description/images ect
Contribute to marketing campaign development
Content creation
Preparation of marketing material
Conduct market research
Customer service
Administration duties
Build followers and increase engagement across all social media platforms
Provide a support function to the businesses centralised digital marketing team
To assist colleagues to deliver the digital marketing plans and activity for projects and campaigns
Search Engine Marketing – Digital Display Advertising, Social Media and Email Marketing.
Track and monitor a campaigns performance with a weekly/monthly report
Analyse data to identify the target market and optimise each campaign
Analyse the traffic and visitors to the business website and social media platforms
Follow up and analysis of campaign result
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
Key requirements:
A good level of English both written and verbal is essential
Able to work as part of a team
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Punctual and reliable
Excellent attitude
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
